Clone Windows VM with icinga agent

Hello

Can Windows VM be cloned with icinga agent installed on it? Is it recommended or do you think that it is better to install icinga agent after a cloned windows VM is deployed. I understand configuration will generate new certificates etc plus the hostname (fqdn) in constant.conf.

Do you think after installation using clone we can do additional step like reconfiguration which can help?

Yes, it can be cloned, but needs reconfiguration and recreation of the certificates, which can done by re-running the wizard. So it can save you some work especially if you add additional plugins, but I personally think investing in automated installation and configuration which will also help with upgrading is better.
