Check http webservice

Hi all,

I always get “socket time out” when I try to check the webservice usng http.
Please help.

sh-4.3# /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_http -H testserver.com -p 80
CRITICAL - Socket timeout after 1 seconds

Try raising the timeout and add a -v to get verbose output

Its working now seems the ping doesnot work
