# Building Icinga2 for Debian

Hi.

Is there any documentation on how to build the Debian packages of Icinga2?

I’d like to make some modifications to the Icinga source, and for ease of testing, it would be ideal to be able to produce Debian packages which I can then install in the standard way.

Is there anything online about how the official packages are built, so that I can do things the same way?
